Festive Friends Come To Visit

This week, lots of your adorable pets came to visit us for some Christmas cuddles. ❤️  🐶  🐱

We absolutely loved welcoming your precious pets and were very impressed with their festive attire. 🎅

Daisy’s Fractured Canine

This absolute cutie is Daisy! ❤️ 🐶

She saw our amazing vet Felicity at Streatham Hill Vets this week as her owners noticed she had a fractured canine. 😮

Like humans, dogs have 2 sets of teeth, and this fractured canine is part of her first set of teeth- so, her baby teeth. We have a few options, we can remove the tooth under general anaesthetic, or in a few months time when her adult teeth start to come through, it will push the baby tooth out.

As this is not causing Daisy any pain or discomfort, we are going to monitor and see how she goes. Her owners will be on the look out for any changes in Daisy’s behaviour, looking for signs of pain, discomfort, swelling and infection. 👀

As you can see, Daisy was well prepared for the Christmas season and came in with a lovely festive scarf! 🎄 🎅

She’s definitely on the nice list! 💕

Pablo The Pup

🎄 This is Pablo!🎄

Pablo recently visited Briar House Vets to see the lovely Keith. As Pablo is only 16 weeks old – and growing – he has to visit us regularly to be weighed prior to his flea and worm treatment being applied – this ensures he is getting the correct dose. 💊

Keith gave Pablo a backstage pass to the surgery so he could showcase his lovely Christmassy coat to us all – what a cutie! 😍 😍

A Festive Bandage For Dolly

The lovely Dolly came into Blackheath Vets this week for a toe removal procedure.

She is a very sweet dog and the team loved seeing her. ❤️  😍

The team couldn’t resist giving her lots of cuddles and a gorgeous festive bandage to help her feel better. 🎄 🎅

We’re already looking forward to seeing her again for a check up. 💜

Christmas Cuddles From Daenerys

Little Daenerys was another guest at Blackheath Vets this week. 💕 🐱

Here she is getting into the festive mood. 🌲 🎅

She came in for a mani/pedi with our nurses. Afterwards, she snuggled into her Christmas blanket and went home to show mum and dad her new claws. 😻

Two Special Guests

This week, Wimbledon Vets were lucky enough to have two very special guests come to visit. 🐶

Both guests were wearing their best Christmas outfits and certainly put a smile on our faces. 🎄 🎅

Unfortunately, both gorgeous dogs had Kennel Cough! 😢

This is Penny. 🐶 💚

Penny visited our great vet Hannah due to a bad case of Kennel Cough.😱

Kennel cough is an airway infection that causes a nasty cough in dogs. More severe cases can occasionally result in symptoms such as a high temperature or a reduced appetite.

Remember your dog will be very contagious whilst they are poorly and can continue to spread kennel cough for 2-3 weeks after their symptoms have cleared. During this time, keep them away from other dogs and public spaces.🐾

Now, let us introduce you to Bob. Bob also visited Wimbledon Vets due to a case of Kennel Cough!

Bob visited our lovely vet Francesca because his owners were worried that he had been coughing. It was found that sweet little Bob did indeed have Kennel Cough. 😱

Bob was given some anti-inflammatories and antibiotics and will be back to his normal self in no time. 🐾

A Cute Christmas Jumper

This little cutie came in to see the team at The Animal Clinic this week.

The visit certainly helped everyone feel festive- just look at that adorable Christmas jumper! 🤗 🎄
