Our Clinical News

Just a few days before Christmas, and our team is feeling very festive! Our wonderful vets are busier than ever this time of the year as many pets want to be healthy and happy over the Christmas period! Of course, we had a few cases in which naughty pets started feasting on Christmas presents and sweets, but our hard working team was there to ensure that they will get back to their normal selves in no time!

Christmas Mischief

This naughty boy is Bailey!
Bailey ate a bar of chocolate 🍫 and now he’s feeling sorry for himself (as you can see in the picture). After spending a few hours with us, Bailey went home and we hope that he will not eat any naughty treats again!
Chocolate is poisonous for our little friends and in large amounts, it can be fatal for your dog. In addition, coffee, raisins, grapes and sultanas (very festive sweets🎄) are very toxic and they can even cause kidney failure.

Vaccinations, Flea and Worm Treatment – Everything For Your VIP

Marvellous Monty visited us again! Fast becoming a team favourite, Monty had a check up with vet Dane and was also treated for fleas, roundworm and lungworm.🐍There have been several outbreaks of lungworm in and around London, we had a case here a few weeks ago, so it is very important that you keep your dogs treatment up to date.
We have also seen leptospirosis, parvo and distemper cases here at the surgery recently – these diseases are potentially fatal, but thankfully easily preventable by vaccination. We are running a vaccine amnesty throughout January so if your dog has lapsed get them booked in the New Year!
If like Monty your dog is a 👑VIP👑 vaccinations are included so please get them up to date!💉

The Cutest Receptionist

Our new receptionist was incredibly handsome if we do say so ourselves🥰
Mojo was in was in as he’s got a very runny nose and his owner was concerned. With some medications hopefully he should be feeling better soon
Mojo isn’t your typical cat 🐱 as he happily comes in to us on a lead and was very happy to be helping our lovely receptionists this morning
