We are proud to announce that our main hospital Streatham Hill Vets has been awarded the Cat Friendly Clinic Gold Level Status and two of our surgeries (Croydon Vets and Briar House Vets) have been awarded the Cat Friendly Clinic Silver Level Status by International Cat Care.
The ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation is an internationally-recognised award. It means that we have met criteria to help minimise stress to your cat in our clinic. To find out more about what this means to your feline friend, visit www.catfriendlyclinic.org
Bringing your cat to the vet can be rather stressful for you and your pet and stress has a major impact on cat welfare. We understand that cats need special handling to feel comfortable and our mission was to minimise the difficulties that cats may face when they visit us as well as the interactions with their canine cousins.
Our cat friendly staff are well trained in understanding the needs of our feline patients, approaching cats in a respectful and stress-free way and always keeping up to date with feline medicine and new veterinary techniques.
Our promise to you:
- We are gentle and caring with cats
- We understand the needs of cats
- We have cat friendly facilities
In addition, our practices have put in place all the necessary facilities to ensure that your cat has received a first class medical care in a comfortable and stress free environment. In particular, cats and dogs are being kept in separate rooms and the hospitalisation kennels are absolutely feline friendly. And that’s not all! There is a consulting room primarily for cats and we use an operating theatre with equipment specifically for treating cats.
By undertaking cat friendly accreditation, our highly trained and experienced team have made a commitment to deliver exceptional care to all our feline patients.
