Moana & Maui: Two Inseparable Puppies

Mulan visited our main hospital Streatham Hill Vets on the 31st of March for an emergency ceasaran, where she had two beautiful puppies. 🐶

We are very proud to introduce Moana and Maui Rambo pictured with our lovely vet Ellen, who are now old enough for their first puppy vaccines 😍💉

We can’t wait to see them in 3 weeks for their second vaccines and have lots of puppy cuddles 💖

If you’re getting a puppy or your pet is overdue a booster vaccine call our surgeries so we can get them booked in to see one of our lovely vets.

Beware The Lillies

This little one is Nina. Nina visited Wimbledon Vets with lily pollen around her nose and mouth. Cats are highly sensitive to lilies and can cause poisoning. Even minor exposures like a cat chewing on a leaf or getting pollen on his or her haircoat or whiskers can be dangerous to their kidneys. If you are worried that your feline friend has come into contact with lilies please call us as soon as possible!
Nina will be staying with us for a few days so our wonderful vets can monitor her and for some extra cuddles. 🐱❤️

A Proud Graduation

Here is the ever-lovely Byron who has been with our wonderful team at Wimbledon vets for months now undergoing chemotherapy for a cancer called lymphoma. Today’s a very special day for Byron, he’s finished his chemotherapy course and is “graduating” so we made him a fun little hat to keep.

We will monitor Byron over the next couple of months but as long as his lymphoma stays in remission, he doesn’t need any chemotherapy for now!

It’s a bitter-sweet goodbye for Byron!

Edie: Our Gentle Giant

Edie was such a gentle beautiful giant today, weighing in at 51kg!!!!
She took everything in her stride and with a wag in her tail!!!! ❤️

Edie visited our team at Lakeview Vets have x-rays of her hips and elbows under sedation these will then be sent to the BVA ( British Veterinary Association) to be scored under their Hip and Elbows Dysplasia Scheme.

The scheme allows breeders and owners to make sure they only breed from healthy pets. 🐶
This is done by an expert panel of veterinary surgeons who look for any abnormalities in the joints and score them against a breed standard in lovely Edie’s case a Leonberger! 😍

If you are interested in the scheme our experienced Veterinary team are able to take appointments for x-rays Monday to Friday or if you need any advice.
