Why Should I Vaccinate My Pet?

Date: 25 Feb 2020

Clinical News

Welcome to the weekend! Hope you all had an exciting week filled with happiness, lots of walks and many cuddles with your life companions – We certainly did! Our vets enjoyed every minute of treating and helping all our furry friends! From pesky visitors to vaccinations and surgeries, our team covered it all!

Feeling Itchy?

This adorable bundle is Marley. He was brought into our Wimbledon clinic as he has been very itchy and Marley finds it very hard not to scratch.
There where no signs of the most obvious fleas so our vet Viraf did a skin scrape which will be sent off for further testing to let us know if little Marley has ringworm, mites or if his scratching is allergy related.

Every day is #BellyRubsDay

Tinkerbell was presented to us by her owner as they were concerned about her horrendous diarrhoea and lethargy.

After thorough examination our vet decided the best option was to admit Tinkerbell for fluids as she was dehydrated! Bloods we’re taken but we were pleased to see they were of no concern and came back normal.

After a few days stay at the ‘Mayow Inn’ for fluids, medication and lots of TLC, Tinkerbell made a full and speedy recovery and was back with her owners before she knew it🥰🐶

Puppy Mayhem

Puppy mayhem at The Animal Clinic last week! We had a total of 9 gorgeous American Bulldog puppies in for their 2nd vaccinations and we couldn't get enough of them! We wish them lots of happiness in their new furever homes ❤️🐶🐾

Home Visits!

How to spoil your pooch….. organise him a home visit for his regular medication check!

The benefits of home visits are massive and Jake fabulously demonstrates one of the main ones…. that are patients are comfortable and relaxed for their check up.

Jake has been on heart medications for quite some time so Vet Leanne and Nurse Mikyler visited him to ensure he was on the correct doses and the medications we still effective.

Jake does normally love visiting the surgery but he reached a new level of relaxation with this home visit.

If you are interested in organising a home visit for your pet, please give us a call! xx
