Some Wonderful Stories Across Our Group

Date: 09 Jul 2019

Benefits of Keyhole Spay

A big day for this beautiful girl Ella🥰. A very playful 7month old Labrador puppy❤️ who came in for a laparoscopic spay, also known as keyhole surgery.

Benefits of a laparoscopic Spey:
– Quicker recovery time
– Less invasive
– Less bleeding post operatively
– Reduced scarring
– Better pain score

Two small incisions are made, 1 for the camera📷 and 1 for the port (where the ovaries are pulled out from).

Our group was one of the first in South London to introduce keyhole surgery and we have now carried out hundreds! If you would like to know a bit more or to book in, please give Streatham Hill Vets or Briar House Vets a call! 🥳

Milo’s Scan

Adorable Milo ❤️ has come to Wimbledon Vets for his first vaccination and needless to say he is adored by us all. Milo has been having some problems of late with the odd vomiting about here and there. Our fabulous vet Viraf decided the best course of action after several treatments would be to check on Milo with a scan .

The scan confirmed that Milo does suffer from Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) which causes chronic gastrointestinal symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhoea and can be common in Cavapoos. Milo will receive treatment and have a change to his diet to make him feel better. Milo will have regular check ups and cuddles for ongoing care❤️

The tip of the tail

This handsome full of ‘Beanz’ had to undergo surgery with our brilliant vets at Mayow Vets to remove the tip of his tail where he had a lump. But, absolutely nothing is stopping this boy, he has bounced back amazingly well.🥰

He visited us again for his final post op check and our fab vet Rachel was extremely happy with how everything looked. No more checks for Beanz unless his owners are concerned. 🩺

What a happy, well behaved and friendly boy💙
