Manor House Vets recently had a very special visitor- Ginger. 😍
The gorgeous Ginger came in for a pregnancy scan and check up but it was a surprise for all, when our fantastic vet Peter discovered that she was actually already dilated and due to give birth within the next 24 hours! 😮
As bulldogs can have difficulty giving birth naturally, we whisked her through to theatre to perform an elective caesarean.
Our wonderful Veterinary Care Assistants Jess and Lauren were ready and waiting to help out but there were more puppies than expected, so it was all hands on deck to get the puppies airways cleared and to hear those lovely first squeaks. 💚
Ginger was such a star 🌟 and just look at how cute her pups are. 😍 💚
Welcome to the world little ones! 🌍 😍
Mama dog was experiencing some difficulties bringing these little cuties into the world, so the brilliant Briar House surgical team had to jump into action and get them safely delivered via emergency caesarean.
Our skilled surgeon Enrico was assisted by Student Nurse Naomi who undertook the complex anaesthesia overseen by Registered Nurse Emma. Nurses Katie and Grace were on hand to play midwife and get these little ones cleaned, breathing and thriving before mum Kiara was round from her surgery. 🍼 What a fantastic team effort! 👍
This procedure was truly lifesaving and very special to be a part of! 💚 Well done team Briar! 🌟
Lovely Puppies Alert! 💕
Our experienced team at Mayow Vets, recently performed a cesarean section. 🐶
The brave mummy had four gorgeous puppies! Aren’t they cute? 😍
The puppies are already growing quickly and are drinking milk with a great appetite! 😋
We hope to see them again soon for more cuddles. 💚
We absolutely loved helping welcome these beautiful puppies into the world and hope to see them soon for their important vaccinations- and some cuddles of course! 💚
