What better way to start your morning than with a quiz? See the questions in the video, try to answer as many as possible and then check the answers. How many did you get right?

Lily’s Emergency Surgery

Beautiful Lily visited Croydon Vets to see our Vet Mark after she underwent emergency surgery last week 🐶

Lily had a Pyometra, which is an infected uterus and is a very serious condition that can occur in unneutered female dogs. Mark alongside our fantastic nurses carried out emergency surgery to remove her uterus. We also administered fluids to keep her hydrated alongside pain relief and antibiotics 💉

Lily was so brave and the whole team fell in love with her sweet nature❤️. We are so pleased to see that she is recovering well and is back to her normal happy self 🐾

If you are at all worried about your pet, please give us a call at the surgery and we can arrange a video or telephone consultation with one of our brilliant Vets ☎️

Naughty Toby And A Tennis Ball

Here is the lovely Staffie Toby shaking hands with our vet Margit. Toby was extremely ill after swallowing part of a tennis ball (barely recognisable in the picture shown), which then became firmly stuck in his guts.
Margit had to perform a life saving surgery to remove the blockage from his small intestines. It was quite a tricky surgery as Toby was very weak and he needed a lot of care during and after the procedure, which all the dedicated vets and nurses of The Animal Clinic were happy to provide, even in tough times like these.
We are so happy to report that Toby has a made a full recovery, and we like to think in this picture he is saying thank you to Margit for saving his life 🥰
