Saturday 20th February is National Love Your Pet Day! 🐶 🐱 🐰
At our surgeries, we love showering your precious pets with love and cuddles every single day. 💚 While we believe that we should all show love and appreciation for our pets every day, we couldn’t resist marking this special occasion.
We wanted to celebrate National Love Your Pet Day by sharing some photos of the adorable pets that have visited our surgeries this week. 🐶 🐱 We’re sure these gorgeous four-legged friends will put a smile on your face. 😊
This gorgeous girl is Willow. 💖 💖
Willow recently visited Lakeview Vets for her second vaccination and captured the hearts of the entire team! 😍
Vaccination of your pets is really important as it plays a vital role in protecting them against potential life threatening diseases. It also helps stop the spread of diseases too!
Please don’t forget to keep up to date with annual boosters to ensure your precious pet is protected.
Willow was an absolute star. 🌟🌟🌟 She loved having snuggles with our wonderful Vet Clemence as you can see in the gorgeous photo above. 😻 😻
This beautiful girl is Gracie. ❤️
Gracie recently visited The Corner Vets for her very first vaccination and health check. We are happy to say that she has a clean bill of health with no concerns and is a very happy little lady. 🐶.
Here’s a photo of our Clinical Manager Chris, giving Gracie a cuddle! 💚
The team are already looking forward to seeing her back in two weeks time for her second vaccine and to see how much she has grown!
This adorable boy is Ziggy. 💚 🐶
Ziggy visited Streatham Hill Vets to investigate a cough that he has had. Ziggy was put under anaesthetic so that X-rays could be performed of his thorax (chest). A bronchoscopy was also performed, which is a procedure involving the use of a flexible endoscope to examine the inside of Ziggy’s trachea (windpipe) and lower airway.
Our wonderful veterinary surgeon, Debbie, also performed a bronchoalveolar lavage or wash, which involved a small amount of fluid being administered down into a branch of Ziggy’s lung and then aspirated for cell analysis, or a fluid culture.
Ziggy was so brave, and loved all the cuddles he got from the vets and nurses. As you can tell from the picture above , he took a shine to our amazing vet Debbie. Ziggy was one cool character!
We look forward to seeing him again soon for his check ups and more cuddles. 💚 💚 💚
Meet the gorgeous Soda.🐶 😍
She visited the team at Blackheath Vets recently to have her teeth cleaned under a general anaesthetic.
Luckily Soda did not need any of her teeth extracted and recovered well from her procedure. 😊 She is pictured below during her recovery.
When Soda woke up from her anaesthetic and was more awake, she was able to go for a nice walk in our garden. 🌻 Take a look at the picture below where she is enjoy a cuddle with one of our wonderful nurses. Our whole team fell completely in love with this cutie. 💕
